Next to the Eastern Mediterranean sea and with a population of 4 million inhabitants, Palestine is a place with great possibilities for foreign investment regarding infrastructures. Especially on the West Bank is where growth rates are phenomenal, reaching 8%, similar to the Asian dragons. The tourist industry also has a large development potential, and in 2011 more than 2.5 million people visited Palestine.
